Cold pressed oils are extracted by pressing seeds and nuts mechanically at low temperature, without heat or chemical solvents. This helps the oil keep its natural nutrients, aroma and colour. Refined oils, on the other hand, are processed with high heat and chemicals.
Some of them are. Oils in our Cooking Oils range are edible. The others are meant for external use on skin and hair. Every product page clearly mentions how to use that oil.
Regular Castor Oil (Arandi ka Tel) is cold pressed from raw castor seeds and is pale golden in colour. Jamaican Black Castor Oil is made by roasting the seeds before extraction, which gives it a dark colour and a nutty smell. Both are popular for hair and scalp care.
Pure coconut oil naturally becomes solid below about 24°C. This is completely normal and not a sign of spoilage. Just keep the bottle in warm water for a few minutes and it will melt again.
Keep the cap tightly closed and store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not needed unless mentioned on the label.
The best before date is printed on every bottle. For the best freshness and aroma, use the oil within the time mentioned on the label after opening.
Yes. Before first use, apply a few drops on your inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If you notice any redness or irritation, do not use it. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, please consult your doctor first.
